scot_flagWhy not celebrate the birthday of Scotlands most famous poet by hosting a meal using traditional scottish ingredients.  Choose from either two or three courses.  All meals are inclusive of coffee and mints at the end of the meal.  For a little extra, you have the option of a dram of whiskey in place of the coffee.  Choose from the menu below:

Starters:

Cock-a-leekie soup
The classic chicken and leek soup with pearl barley

Potted smoked salmon
Served with oatcakes

Chicken liver pate
Served with toast

Main Courses:

Haggis, neep and tattie stack
Served with a whiskey onion gravy (vegetarian option available)

Flying Scotsman
Chicken breast, stuffed with haggis and wrapped in streaky bacon and served with a creamy mushroom and whiskey sauce

Desserts:

Cranachan
whipped cream flavoured with whiskey and honey and containing lightly toasted oatmeal and fresh raspberries

Locally sourced Scottish cheeses
Served with oatcakes and chutney
